The Independent School District #1 network contains 1500+ computers, 3200+ tablets, 2200+ Chromebooks, 22 miles of fiber optic cable, and over 6000 users. Every campus has wired and wireless network access. The connectivity of all these minds and tools is an exciting and challenging task. Due to the growing interest in the application of technology in education, our duties have expanded exponentially, and continue to grow daily. We currently house over 90 servers/network appliances providing Internet access, telephone service, and file and print services.
