His deep commitment to the district’s academic growth and success, coupled with his extensive leadership roles in the district and involvement in shaping our educational programs, make him an exceptional candidate to lead the district forward.
As we continue our work to make Lewiston School District the number one school choice in the area and a leader in the state, Tim is excited to share his vision for the future. Tim’s passion for academic excellence, community engagement, and ensuring equal opportunities for all students aligns with our district’s mission, vision and goals.
“Tim will continue the great trajectory of academic excellence that Lance has built,” said Board President Staci Baldwin.
Tim Sperber earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Idaho and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Washington State University. He joined the district in July 2006 as the Coordinator of Tammany High School. The following year, he transitioned to Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Lewiston High School. In July 2012, he was appointed Elementary Principal at Whitman, and in July 2021, he assumed the role of Secondary Principal at Sacajawea Middle School.
Mr. Tim Sperber holds an Idaho Education Credential with endorsements in School Principal (Pre-K12), English (6-12), Social Studies (6-12), and History (6-12).
